Producer & Director
Committed to contemporary stories and accessibility, Ms. Anderson has taken on roles as coordinator, executive producer, and director for stage and screen.
She specializes in producing/directing chamber operas by young composers. For two years, she has been the coordinator of BGSU’s MicroOpera program and has facilitated the premiere of seven chamber operas and oversaw their directors, singers, musicians, conductors, and crew. During and before her position as the program’s coordinator, she stage directed four of its productions - What Was (Gibbs), Hero’s Awakening (Wojtczack), Beethoven’s Razor (Deeter), and Attached is your Invoice (Flasch).
In Fall of 2024, she produced/directed/edited a film adaptation of Jonathan D. Kroeger’s chamber opera Matchless with the PRAECEPTA organization.
As a strong believer of the power of digital content, her skills include film editing, audio engineering, and social media management, which she intertwines with her artistry.
In Summer 2024, she was the radio intern at WGTE, Toledo’s Public Broadcasting Station where she edited several podcast episodes (Classical Conversations and Better and Longer) and was a voice actress for multiple radio-plays written by the studio.
